Browsing Gallery: Preston Demonstration Station

This was one of our first demonstration stations ! Held at a meeting of the North West RAYNET association at the Emergency Planning Offices in Preston. A Group of us set up the station over a lunchtime in the boot of G0DUB's Suzuki Vitara. The equipment was QRP on 80m and 40m ( a White Mountain 40 2W O/P on 40m SSB and an Epyphyte-2 5Watts out on 80m ). A couple of antennas may be seen, a loaded whip mounted on a tripod and a W3EDP longwire supported by a 17ft fishing pole attached to the front of the car.
